Should Japan do more to protect its historical sites?

日本人のみならず世界にとっても観光地を守っていく事は大切な事である。

Japan has long history and it also has many historic sites such as temples and historic buildings. In Kyoto, one of the most historic city in Japan, there are so many famous temples and those attract many people all over the world. 

I believe that Japan should more to ptotect those historic sites for out future.

First, those historic sites play important role for school education. In Japan we have to learn Japanese history, and we also learn about Japanese historic sites from textbooks and teachers. However, the best way to understand historic sites is to go to the place and see and touch them if we can. For that reason, many junior high school students go to Nara and Kyoto for school trip. if japanese goverment invest cost to protect these sites, our future children can learn like us and those experiences help them understand japanese history horistically.

Another reason is to attract foreigners. There were more than 30million people visiting Japan from all over the world in 2017. Some people say the most attractive places are historical places because those sites are very distinguish from those in Europe.

If they are peotected, more visitors will come to Japan to see those sites and that will make huge profit for japan.

Not only for our future generations, but also many foreigners,  I strongly suggest that Japan do more to protects its historical sites.
